Added a Twitter account via OStatus hasn't worked for me either… is there some trick?
As mentioned, browser is set in KDE. But, that page does mention "Setting the browser that opens in Thunderbird - Linux" cc @cyberkiller
That's set correctly. All my other KDE apps use it. Thunderbird does not
My "Content Type" list is empty, not sure how to add to it…
